Texas A&M's Energy Research Society utilizes sponsorship to promote and better the University and it's students understanding of key industry problems, solutions, and advancements. This is mainly seen through TAMU ERS' Conference on Energy hosted every fall for the whole Texas A&M student body.
TAMU Material Sciences & Engineering
Materials science explores the relationship between processing (how a material is made and modified), structure (how a material is organized from atomic to macroscopic lengthscales), and properties (how a material responds to stress, electrical field, temperature gradients, etc.).
TAMU Department of Industrial Engineering
To serve the state, nation and global community by educating industrial engineering students to be well founded in engineering fundamentals and to have the knowledge and skills required to design, develop, improve, implement and control sophisticated production and service systems in an environment characterized by complex technical and social challenges. Throughout this educational process, students will be instilled with the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior.
